What is Flex Product?

Flex Fibre is a fibre-to-the-home solution that offers affordability and flexibility for customers who may not want to commit to long-term contracts. Flex allows users to pay up-front for their internet usage on a month-to-month basis. Customers can set up automatic recharges using recurring payments to ensure uninterrupted internet service without the need for manual intervention.

What are the benefits of Flex fibre?

  • Reduced Fibre Latency providing a smoother online experience, especially for real-time applications like online gaming and video conferencing.

Is this product available in available in my area?

Fibre availability depends on your location. Our fibre network is always expanding, but coverage may still be limited in some regions. You can check with our coverage map to determine if fibre is available at your address.

How do I get Flex fibre?

To get Hybrid fibre internet installed, you typically need to follow these steps:

  • Step 1: Check your area coverage:Verify if fibre internet is available in your area.
  • Step 2: Choose a line speed: Select a fibre line speed that suites your budget and internet needs.
  • Step 3: Make payment:Choose a once-off payment for 1 month or set-up a recurring payment for many months.
  • Step 4: Schedule installation: Schedule an installation for a time that suits you. A installer will visit your residence to get you set-up.
  • Step 5: Get activated: We will connect you to the internet within 72 hours on being installed.

How do I pay for my package?

We offer various payment methods dependent on your payment type.

  • – Once-off Payments: When selecting once-off payments, you can choose to pay via online credit/ debit card or cash payments at various retailers via Scode or Mukuru.

  • Recurring payments:When selecting recurring payments, you will have to pay via online credit/debit card. No cash payments will be accepted.

My internet has expired. How do I recharge?

If you selected ‘once-off payment’ when purchasing your fibre connection, you will need to log onto your profile on getflex.co.za and recharge with another 30 day payment. You have to recharge within 10 days of your internet expiring before your account is cancelled and you have to place a new order.

If you selected ‘recurring payment’ when purchasing your fibre connection, your recharge should be automatic as a debit will come off your account on a monthly basis. If your internet is expired, your automatic payment might have been unsuccessful and you may need to check your account balance. You have 10 days to make payment again via your profile on getflex.co.za before your account is cancelled and you have to place a new order.
